Notepad is offered free of charge, as-is, without warranty of any kind. It is a client-side tool — your notes are stored by your browser, not by us. Back up anything important.

Acceptable use

You may use Notepad for any lawful purpose. Since the tool runs entirely in your browser, you are solely responsible for the content you create with it. Do not use it to draft or distribute illegal material.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any data loss, damages, or consequential harms arising from use of this service. Browser storage can be cleared, corrupted, or lost at any time — if a note matters, export it.

We may update these terms to reflect product changes. Material changes will be dated above.
