Short version

Your notes stay on your device. They are saved in your browser's localStorage and are never uploaded, transmitted, backed up, or shared with us or any third party.

What we collect

About your notes: nothing. The content you type is stored locally in your browser. It is not sent to our servers. Clearing your browser data will erase your notes permanently — we have no copy.

About your visit: we may use privacy-respecting analytics (aggregate page views, referrers, country-level location) to understand which pages are useful. This never includes anything you type. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising identifiers.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Your IP is visible to Google when the font file is requested, per standard web behavior. No other third-party tracking is embedded.

Children

Notepad is intended for a general audience and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including minors.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be highlighted on the home page.
